organizations. They have a very useful section of Resources

New Schools
(Palo Alto, CA) – is a non-profit venture philanthropy fund that was
founded to create and support a network of education entrepreneurs.
They are building a network among and between education
entrepreneurs and New Economy resources and are investing in a
portfolio of 8-12 of the best non-profit and for profit education
ventures. New Schools works with these ventures to make sure they have
access to not only the financial capital they need to succeed, but the
human and intellectual capital as well. Their site includes some

New Profit, Inc.
(Boston, MA) - plans to attract new financial and intellectual capital
to the nonprofit sector and develop new financing mechanisms for
investing in social entrepreneurs. NP focuses on long-term,
